Silk is "a beauty weapon

Since we spend a third of our lives in bed, sleeping with a silk pillowcase would help us age better. Silk keeps the skin moisturized and prevents wrinkles on the face.

When we sleep, we go 7 to 8 hours without drinking. As a result, our skin lacks water and "dry lines" form. To avoid this, we recommend drinking before going to bed and using a silk pillowcase. This will keep the skin hydrated.

Silk is a natural protein created by an insect, the mulberry bombyx. It's a molecular tissue that acts like a second skin. Silk fibers will therefore help to regenerate cells during sleep.

Silk is better than cotton

Cotton is a hydrophilic fabric, absorbing around 30% of our skin's water, compared with 11% for silk. So, a cotton pillowcase dehydrates our skin and more easily forms wrinkles on our face. A silk pillowcase, on the other hand, preserves skin moisture. What's more, it absorbs creams less, allowing skin care products to work more effectively.
